Heritage
Founded in the late 1930s by Rusty Gibbons, CTI began as Cement Transporters, a dedicated aggregate hauler based in Rillito, Arizona. Since our early days, our commitment to safety and reliability has been the bedrock of our operations. Renamed CTI in 1978, we have consistently broadened our horizons to meet the changing needs of the industries we serve. Today, we specialize in the transportation of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, maintaining a strong focus on supporting the mining industry which constitutes 80 percent of our business across Arizona, western New Mexico, and Utah.

Operations
Our operations span 17 locations, powered by a dedicated team of over 320 professionals, with 270 based in Arizona. Our headquarters in Rillito, nestled within the scenic bounds of Marana, is more than a base; it’s a symbol of over 90 years of industry leadership. Our new facility, a state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot building, supports our expansive operations including logistics, customer service, training, safety, and maintenance, alongside our executive offices and human resources departments.

Recent expansions include advanced transloading operations, facilitating efficient material transfer between railcars and trailers.
